QuadQuote is quoting software for laser-cutting job shops. It measures every cut, counts every pierce and nests on the real outlines, so the price on the quote is the job you actually cut.
The challenge
Quoting laser work by eye leaks margin. Leave out the lead-ins, and a bracket with twenty holes quotes short by twenty.
Cut length, pierces, machine time and the metal a job really uses all have to be counted, for every part, on every job. By hand it's slow. By guesswork it's expensive.

What does QuadQuote run on?
Windows PCs. QuadQuote is a desktop program, not a website: it runs on your own computers, and your work stays on them.
Which drawing files can it read?
DXF (including binary DXF), DWG, STEP and NC1. DWG files are read through the free ODA File Converter; if it isn't installed, QuadQuote tells you where to get it.
STEP sheet-metal solids are unfolded for you, with the bends counted. NC1 (DSTV) files bring in plates, with the grade, quantity and thickness taken from the file.
Does it need an internet connection?
Only to activate, refresh or move a licence. Day to day, QuadQuote works entirely offline.
Can the whole shop use it?
Yes. Each PC that runs QuadQuote needs a licence seat, and all of them can share one database, so a price changed in the office is on the shop-floor terminals a moment later. A PC that only serves the database needs no licence.
Where is our data kept?
On your own PCs, in a database that backs itself up every day. Your quotes, customers and drawings are never stored in the cloud.
What happens when our subscription ends?
QuadQuote asks for a renewal code. A renewal is simply a fresh activation code: enter it and carry on. Your quotes and customers stay on your PCs throughout.
Can we move QuadQuote to a new computer?
Yes. Use Move this licence on the old PC to free its seat, then activate the new one with the same code.
